Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing
information about the user. Our site does not use cookies.
Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track
user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate
use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information,
however, as part of our site administration process we do perform
a "reverse domain lookup" to relate IP addresses to domain
names. We collect and store: the name of the domain and host from
which you access the Internet (for example, aol.com or princeton.edu);
the Internet protocol (IP) address of the computer you are using;
the browser software you use and your operating system; the date
and time you access our site; and the Internet address of the website
from which you linked directly to our site.
Are You Ready?
The URL: http://www.pitchsmart.com/areyouready is used to test whether
your web browser is properly configured for Pitchsmart presentations.
We test: your Shockwave version, for correct installation of Shockwave
XTRAS, whether you have streaming video software installed, and
whether you can connect to our messaging servers. We collect and
store: log file information, your Shockwave version, your Quicktime
version, and the TCP port you used to connect to our messaging server.
Our Internet Service Provider(s) have access to our log files.
Quality Assurance & Engineering Data
If a Pitchsmart presentation encounters an internal error, (such
as a failure to connect to a messaging server) the presentation
automatically makes a report to our Quality Assurance and Engineering
teams. This report may be in the form of an email or as a post to
a database. The report includes the date and time of the error,
a description of the error, and the environment in which the presentation
is running. It may also include application variables and system
configuration information, or other data necessary to understand
and solve program and network problems.
This information is used to correct errors, to gather aggregate
system metrics about our user base, to alert us to network outages,
and for other engineering purposes. Except as high-level aggregate
metrics, this information is not shared beyond our Quality Assurance,
Engineering, Network, and Management teams.

We do not share information on this site with companies or individuals
not related to creative perspectives, inc.
